Did alcohol play a role in ‘Elevator Road’ accident?

Police are reportedly investigating whether alcohol may have played a role in the accident on ‘Elevator Road’ that resulted in two persons receiving multiple injuries on Saturday, November 28, 2020.
According to reports reaching our newsroom, one of the persons in the black Ford Truck Explorer that collided with a motor scooter was suspected to be under the influence of alcohol.

Police sources have confirmed those reports but did not state whether any blood alcohol level’ tests’ were done and whether charges have been laid.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, persons witnessed that one of the persons in the vehicle was unable “hold his balance” when attempting to stand after coming out the vehicle.

Eyewitnesses also said the man had “a very strong stench” on his breath.
