Former Dean of Arts, Science and General Studies at the H Lavity Stoutt Community College (HLSCC) Dr Cassander Titley-O’Neal has been appointed Director of the National Parks Trust.
Dr Titley O’Neal’s new role was announced by Minister for Labour & Natural Resources, Vincent Wheatley, via social media on Tuesday.
Wheatley said, “Dr Titley-O’Neal will be heading up the National Parks Trust and transforming it into a more sustainable tourism product producing entity while retaining its conservation responsibilities.”
“I wish Dr Titley-O’Neal and her team the very best,” added the minister who is also Deputy Premier.

Dr Titley-O’Neal had resigned from HLSCC in 2016 after serving at the local college for more than 15 years under the then NDP regime.
The new National Parks Trust director - a Virgin Gorda resident - is the owner of an environmental consulting agency called Environment Systems Ltd.
Notably, Dr Titley-O’Neal openly supported Wheatley and the VIP leading up to the February 2019 General Elections.
