Dual Carriageway freak accident slows traffic on rainy Saturday
Sometime around 4:30 pm, a lone SUV appears to have skidded off the road into a fence on the James Walter Francis Drive across from Carib Supply today, Saturday, November 5, 2022.
It is unclear the circumstances surrounding the accident or if anyone was injured, however, fire and police personnel were on hand to assist and investigate the accident.
Currently, it is raining in the Virgin Islands and forecasters have warned of more thunderstorms to come.
The accident brought traffic to an almost halt on a rainy day in Tortola.
