The project, also called the National Sewerage Project, was officially re-commissioned on October 30, 2020, having been delayed for several years.

It is designed to give the East End/Long Look areas their first public sewerage system.

The are where the force main pump line was laid at Paraquita Bay.

Minister for Transportation, Works and Utilities Hon Kye M. Rymer (R5) on his Facebook page today, August 29, 2021, said works continue in the Fat Hogs Bay area in continuation of the phased approach to completing the East End/Long Look Sewerage Project.
