BVI News has not been able to ascertain the exact amount of weed found in the man’s possession but reports say he had more than 400 grams.

It’s believed that the police found the drug after executing a search warrant. The illegal substance was said to be stashed in a storage area on the motorized scooter the accused owns.

Our news centre understands that the man will also be charged for intention to sell the weed.

It is unclear whether he has been offered bail and when he will appear in court to answer to the charges.
