Fat Hogs Bay youth pleads guilty to firearm & ammo charges

Dimar Frederick, 23, of Fat Hogs Bay, Tortola, pleaded guilty to the charges of keeping a firearm without a license and unlawful possession of ammunition when he appeared in the Magistrate's Court today, Wednesday, November 23, 2022.
Frederick was arrested and charged on November 21, 2022, after police searched an establishment in the Long Look area of Tortola and discovered the firearm and ammunition.

The young man was also charged for common assault but pleaded not guilty to that charge.

Frederick, who was unrepresented in court today, is to be sentenced in January 2023.
