Female patient reportedly dies of COVID-19; 4 deaths now in VI
Our news centre has been informed by senior sources at D. Orlando Smith Hospital that a female patient died this morning, July 13, 2021.
The now-deceased woman was allegedly diagnosed with COVID-19 and had been in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) on a ventilator due to breathing challenges.
While our news centre has the name of the deceased, who was a public sector employee, we will not release it until we are satisfied that all immediate family members and close friends have been notified.
