Fire officer seriously injured in motor scooter accident @ Hope Hill
Information reaching Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that an off-duty fire officer was reportedly seriously injured in a motor scooter accident at Hope Hill on Monday, April 18, 2022.
It is unclear the circumstances surrounding the mishap or if any other vehicles were involved; however, the injured man was found at the side of the road around 7:00am.
Our newsroom was told that the fire officer was taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital and subsequently air-lifted overseas for medical care.
