Former Minnesota Police Officer Charged In Shooting Of Daunte Wright

Kim Potter is facing a second-degree manslaughter charge in connection with Wright’s death. In a statement, prosecutors say Potter’s “action caused the unlawful killing of Mr. Wright and she must be held accountable.” Police say Potter meant to draw a Taser, but drew her handgun instead.
