Funeral for 9-Year-Old Stabbing Victim Held in Southport

A funeral for nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar, who was killed in a mass stabbing in Southport, UK, brought together hundreds of mourners. The July 29 attack also claimed the lives of two other young girls and led to nationwide disorder. Axel Rudakubana has been charged with murder but the event is not considered terrorism-related.
Hundreds of mourners gathered in Southport, UK, for the funeral of nine-year-old Alice da Silva Aguiar, who was killed in a mass stabbing on July 29.

The emotional ceremony featured family, friends, and community leaders, with attendees wearing white in a show of respect.

The attack, which occurred during a Taylor Swift-themed dance class, also claimed the lives of Bebe King and Elsie Dot Stancombe and injured ten others.

The incident sparked nationwide disorder, blamed on far-right agitators.

British-born Axel Rudakubana has been charged with murder and attempted murder but the motive remains unclear and is not considered terrorism-related.
