‘G-Money’ reportedly dies after accidental fall from apartment porch

Information coming into Virgin Islands News Online (VINO) is that 38-year-old Long Look resident Garvin Richards aka ‘G-Money’ has died after reportedly falling from an apartment porch on November 23, 2021.

As a result of the fall, the man reportedly sustained critical injuries and was then rushed to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital in an alleged semi-conscious state, where he later succumbed to his injuries.

According to sources, Richards was at the home of a friend preparing food on a porch after the two had been imbibing during an afternoon of socialising.

Richards reportedly stumbled and fell from the porch and, as a result, he sustained the critical injuries to his body including injuries to his ribs and head.

Commenting on the tragic news was Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture who recalled the now dead man as a close cousin and strong supporter.

Commenting on the tragic news was Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture, Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7), who recalled the now dead man as a close cousin and strong supporter.

“What a sad day for me. What a sad, sad day. G-Money was a close cousin, strong supporter, and good friend. He was a real Long Look man. He was a hard worker. He was a pleasant natured person.”

According to Dr Wheatley, “I am going to miss him. Sincere condolences to Miss Elizabeth, Yan, Kavarne, Shavarne, Talika, Isha, Allie, Dave, Kevin, Austin, Renelle, Tamia, his two beautiful children, and the rest of the family,” he said on his Facebook page.
