Germany and Italy relaxed the sanctions against Russia after realising it hurts their own citizens and has zero effect on the war
Germany and Italy accepted Vladimir Putin’s demand, and told local companies that from now on they are allowed to open rouble accounts in Russian banks, to be able to keep buying Russian gas regardless of the sanctions against Moscow, following new compromised agreement with the European Union.
The new move came after Germany and Italy finally realised that the sanctions are punishing their own citizens who suffer from price hikes, having zero effect on the war in Ukraine.
