Goop’s New HQ by Rapt Studio Looks Like a Modern Office but Feels Like Home

No one does a modern office quite like Rapt Studio (just see here and here) and their latest project, lifestyle brand goop’s new Santa Monica headquarters, is no exception. This may be one of the few offices where we wouldn’t mind staying overtime. The warmth of the design is felt throughout the office as the space was designed to feel like home.

At the front desk, a colossal custom reception desk designed by Rapt and fabricated by North Hollywood-based Artcrafters greets guests, who can also make themselves at home in the waiting area outfitted with a rounded metal screen designed by Bayly Art and sculptural pastel seating.

Throughout the offices, various spaces have been built out to cultivate creative thinking, including a product room + lab for wellness innovation, a test kitchen to test recipes and film goop’s YouTube series starring Gwyneth Paltrow herself and other goop editors, a fashion + design workroom for goop’s fashion line G. Label, and a podcast recording studio. Employees can also find breakout spaces for impromptu meetings and independent work.

Featured throughout the office is a bevy of contemporary furnishings and fixtures, including Galanter & Jones’ heated outdoor furniture on goop’s outdoor deck; lighting by Roll & Hill; custom workstations, conference room tables and modular lounges by MASH Studios; custom furniture by LA-based Waka Waka; and modern office furniture by Vitra.
