Virgin Islands Government Puts $50,000 into the Hands of Local Musical Artists

The Virgin Islands government has announced a financial investment of $50,000 to support local musical artists.
The money will be managed by the VI Festival and Fairs committee, with the aim of helping artists grow and develop their artistry to the next level.

The Premier, Dr Natalio D.

Wheatley, stated that the financing will not be a loan and will not require repayment from the artists.

Instead, the committee will determine the best use of the money for each particular artist.

The ultimate goal is to raise the profile of local artists and make them more successful, with better quality sound and songs that can make international airways.

The Premier believes that the investment will also enhance the reputation of the Virgin Islands as a result of the success of the local artists.
