According to Premier and Minister of Finance Honourable Andrew A. Fahie (R1), all members of his Government will be present at the meetings.

Premier Fahie in a press release on January 11, 2021, said: "As a Government we will have regular meetings in different communities to hear from the public; to share information on the work and plans of the Government; and to identify opportunities for the Government and people to work together toward the overall development of the Virgin Islands."

'We welcome opportunities for open discussions'

Premier Fahie added, “We are a Government of the people, and we welcome opportunities for open discussions as we all work toward building the Virgin Islands. I look forward to this community engagement as we continue to actively and proactively develop the Virgin Islands for generations to come."

Premier further explained that discussions would include matters relating to the community, the Government Legislative Agenda, the 2021 Budget, among other areas of interest.

The first meetings will be held on the Elmore Stoutt High School grounds, Lower Estate, Tortola at 5:00 pm and in Fahie Hill at the Watch House at 8:00 pm.
