Governor John Rankin has expressed concerns over the lack of accessibility to good governance reviews emanating from the Commission of Inquiry (COI) Report.
Despite the government's willingness to publish some of the reviews, the Governor has stated that many remain inaccessible to the public.
As a result, the Governor has resorted to publishing audits himself and has expressed his willingness to do so in relation to the reviews and other documentation if accessibility issues are not resolved.
The Governor also indicated that plans for
COI-related communications within the Premier's office appear to have been stalled.
The Governor emphasized the importance of public communication, consultation, and engagement in ensuring that the necessary reforms "take root."
