Governor Rankin Vows to Push for Good Governance Reforms Despite Departure
The Governor of the British Virgin Islands (BVI), John Rankin, has stated that he will continue to push for the implementation of good governance reforms recommended by the Commission of Inquiry (COI) despite his upcoming departure from office at the end of the year.
Rankin plans to work hard during his remaining time to support good governance, the reform process, and partnership with the government to achieve the reforms the territory deserves.
However, the elected government's progress on the reforms has been slow, and Rankin expressed his intention to use additional powers if necessary to speed up the process.
