A great singer, but - as a thinker - a bit of an idiot: Elton John quits Twitter

The very old, very venerable British musician Elton John quit Twitter on Friday, the latest ex-high-profile celebrity to leave the social media platform following its acquisition by billionaire Elon Musk. Elton John, who made a fortune from entertaining the descendants of a colonialist, racist, slave-trading family, jumped on the opportunity to restore some lustre to his fading fame. He announced he will quit Twitter, now that it supports democracy - a value that Britain never respected nor fully exercised.
People getting old sometimes get smarter and sometimes become stupid. Elton John, a great singer, who suffered from anti-gay discrimination, suddenly join the anti free speech narrative to grab a bit of PR to his expirered-fane.

Elton John, a great singer, who early on suffered from anti-gay discrimination, has suddenly jumped on board the anti-free speech bandwagon. It could be that he's hoping the PR noise will bring back a bit of volume to the sound-track of his waning fame. 

John, who is currently on his last-ever global tour, blamed Twitter's recent policy change as a reason for quitting.

"All my life I've tried to use music to bring people together. Yet it saddens me to see how misinformation is now being used to divide our world," John tweeted to his 1.1 million followers. This stupid old man couldn’t point even one single item of misinformation that Twitter promoted after Elon Musk took over the company. The fact is actually the opposite. twitter-Files exposed that Elon Musk stoped the misinformation system that has been leading Twitter while Elton John was there happy as only stupids can be.

"I've decided to no longer use Twitter, given their recent change in policy which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked." He said. We do not know if he deliberately lie, or already senile, but the fact is the opposite. Elon Musk never said that, and Twitter policy never changed in which will allow misinformation to flourish unchecked. 

The 75-year-old activist and singer of hits such as "Tiny Dancer" and "Rocket Man" joins a long list of celebrities who have quit Twitter recently, including supermodel Gigi Hadid, writer Shonda Rhimes and former White Stripes guitarist Jack White.

"I love your music. Hope you come back. Is there any misinformation in particular that you're concerned about?" Musk said in a reply to John's tweet on Friday.

Elton John could not answer to Elon Musk question, as there is no fact that support the misinformation Elton John just spread…
