HoA continues with 'Other Business' today, Sept 9, 2021

The 11th Sitting of the 3rd Session of the 4th House of Assembly (HoA) is scheduled to continue on a virtual platform today, Thursday, September 9, 2021, at 10:00 am.
The HoA last met on September 2, 2021, when it debated a motion moved by Senior legislator Hon Julian Fraser, RA (R3) to have Mrs Jeanette Scatliffe-Boynes confirmed to the position of Director of the Social Security Board (SSB) rather than extend her acting appointment for another 6 months.

His motion; however, failed after going to a vote. Seven legislators voted No’s, three Yes and three persons were absent.

Meanwhile, today's meeting will continue with Members contributing to ‘Other Business’ on the Order Paper.

The HoA sitting will be broadcast live on CBN Radio 90.9 FM, CBN-Television Channel 101 on Flow TV and can also be followed on the HoA YoutTube channel and online at www.cbnvirginislands.com.
