The House of Assembly (HoA) of the Virgin Islands has convened today, Thursday, July 29, 2021, in an all-virtual emergency sitting.
This was communicated via the order paper for today's Tenth Sitting of the Third Session of the Fourth House of Assembly (HoA).
While the HoA session is expected to touch on matters related to the Territory's COVID
-19 pandemic handling, Premier Andrew A. Fahie
(R1) will also move two motions to exempt Deputy Speaker, Hon Neville A. Smith (AL) from vacating his seat over two contracts awarded to a company connected to him.

The HoA last met on June 24, 2021.
