HoA to continue Thursday, April 7, 2022 in Committee

The Fourth House of Assembly (HoA) of the Virgin Islands will continue its sitting on Thursday, April 7, 2022, at the Save the Seed Energy Centre, on the main island of Tortola.

Tameeka George, an HoA spokeswoman, confirmed the meeting in an email to the local media on Monday, April 4, 2022.

The Legislature will be in 'Committee of the Whole House', which is not open to the public, to examine the Virgin Islands Food and Sustainability Act 2022, a bill brought by the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).

The Order of the Day also continues with other bills and questions posed by Third District Representative Hon Julian Fraser, RA.

The HoA will be carried live on ZBVI 780 AM, CBN Radio 90.9 FM, CBN-Television Channel 101 on Flow TV and can also be followed on the HoA YoutTube channel and online at  www.cbnvirginislands.com.

When the HoA resumes its sitting on April 7, 2022, it will be examining the Virgin Islands Food and Sustainability Act 2022, a bill brought by the Deputy Premier and Minister for Education, Culture, Youth Affairs, Fisheries and Agriculture Dr the Honourable Natalio D. Wheatley (R7).
