Hon Fraser holding Community meeting of ‘national significance’ tomorrow
Constituents of the Third District and all residents of the Virgin Islands are being invited to a community meeting Third District Representative and Opposition Leader Hon Julian Fraser RA (R3) has branded as of “national significance”.
The meeting is slated for Valerie O. Thomas Community Centre in Sea Cows Bay from 7:00 PM tomorrow, Thursday, February 16, 2023.
“These are crucial times and I am aware that everything we do will have an enormous impact on your future, so your input is needed now more than ever to guide outcomes.

“Your participation in this meeting will certainly help,” Hon Fraser stated in his appeal to the public on social media.
The veteran legislator said current events such as the recent visit by the UK Minister for Overseas Territories Lord Frank Zacharias Robin Goldsmith, the aims and activities of the Constitutional Review Commission, and “of great significance” the soon-to-be-debated police bill are all matters desirous of the public’s input.
He said the HoA has postponed debate on the Police Bill because of concerns raised by the public, “thus giving you opportunities like this to be further heard.
“You need to know more about the Minister’s visit. You need to take seriously the fact that this constitution might just be your last, given that the last review was 16 years ago,” Hon Fraser stated, as he urged the public to capitalise on the “all-important opportunity” to share opinions and give input on these matters.
