How Thailand's Largest Crypto Exchange Bitkub Got Started

How Thailand's Largest Crypto Exchange Bitkub Got Started

Topp Jirayut Srupsrisopa is the founder and group CEO of Bitkub, Thailand’s leading regulated cryptocurrency exchange. Bitkub accounts for 95% of all the cryptocurrency transactions in the country. He also co-founded Thailand’s first and largest Bitcoin wallet company.

The journey to success wasn’t always written in the stars. After two failures due to regulatory issues, his parents asked him to stop working on crypto fearing that he would end up in jail. Topp finally got a break, and the company has been flying.

Topp previously co-founded coins.co.th — Thailand’s largest bitcoin wallet company. He is an Executive Board Member and Vice President at the Thai Fintech Association and a Subcommittee at Thailand’s Office of the Trade Competition Commission.

After accomplishing his MPhil in Economics at Oxford University, UK, Topp worked as an investment banker, a financial consultant and a central banker.
