Individual caught on CCTV burglarising restaurant in East End

Police are said to be reviewing CCTV footage to identify the person who broke into Kravins Restaurant in East End, Tortola on Wednesday, May 19, 2021, and made off with cash and other items.
According to reports reaching our newsroom, the discovery was made late Wednesday afternoon as the proprietor and staff were in the process of opening up for business.

Upon reviewing CCTV footage, a male was reportedly seen taking over $200 cash float monies left in the cash register in addition to a bottle of Royal Crown alcohol and soda.

The crime took place sometime after the close of business around 1:00AM on May 19, 2021.

The restaurant is connected with the Kravins Night Club.

It is believed the culprit used a special device to pry open the tightly secured door to enter the business establishment.
