Injured truck driver transferred to Florida hospital
Kavin Robin, 23, who was injured when the flatbed truck he was driving fell off the side of a road at Diamond Estate on February 27, 2021, has been transferred to a hospital in Florida, USA.
According to a close relative, the man was taken by medivac from the Dr D Orlando Smith Hospital last night, March 3, 2021, and arrived in Florida earlier this morning, March 4, 2021, where he is to start extensive evaluation for corrective surgeries and care.

Reports are that when the truck fell some 40 feet and landed on a house, one of Kavin’s hands was pinned and seriously damaged.
He also reportedly suffered multiple injuries to the upper body including the head, which requires urgent medical assessment.
According to the relative, the injured driver is alert and speaking at the moment.
