Two interdicted officers of the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) have walked out of the High Court free men.
Pamphill Prevost and Simon Power were being retried for the offences of theft and conspiracy to steal as a result of numerous allegations of corruption. However, High Court Judge, Justice Raymond Williams upheld a no-case submission from the defence.
The two men were accused of stealing money during an official police operation between January 2012 to July 2014.
Prosecutors had recommended charges for Prevost, Power, and another cop, Shawn Henry, who was previously found not guilty.
Prevost and Power faced their first held between January – April, 2019 which ended in a hung jury.
