Investigators seek witnesses of fatal accident
Police are asking persons who were at the scene or provided care to the victim of the fatal accident on Fort Hill to come forward and assist with the investigation.
Investigations indicate that while descending Fort Hill, a scooter rider collided with a vehicle travelling in the opposite direction on the evening of Thursday, 19 January.
The rider, Vincent Huggins, 19, of Hodge’s Creek, received fatal injuries and was pronounced dead upon arrival at the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital. Officers of the Road Policing Unit seek information from the persons who either witnessed the accident or rendered medical assistance at the scene.
