Jack Pitchford, a 20-year-old student from Shifnal, has commenced a 215-mile walk along the Severn Way to raise funds for the Anthony Nolan charity, which facilitates stem cell transplants.

Inspired by his father's successful treatment for myelofibrosis—a rare blood cancer—through a stem cell transplant in 2018, Pitchford aims to give back to the organization that played a crucial role in his family's life.
