Jareena Penn has been crowned Miss BVI 2022.
Penn, crown last night, was the runner-up of last year’s competition placing second to Kathyln Archibald-Drew.
Just last week,
the Virgin Islands Festivals and Fairs Committee said only a coronation would happen because of funding.
Luce Hodge-Smith — a former Miss BVI and member of the festival committee — had noted that the coronation was justified as the Penn had participated last year and would have gone through the judging process already.
