Jean Paul Gaultier Reveals Sneaker Collaboration with Sacai and Nike

Jean Paul Gaultier Reveals Sneaker Collaboration with Sacai and Nike

Have a first look at the couturier's sneaker collaboration with the Japanese designer.

Japanese label Sacai's collaborations with Nike are some of the most sought-after sneakers out there, and back in 2020, the brand's designer Chitose Abe was the first to be selected by Jean Paul Gautier to collaborate with the renowned couturier following his final Haute Couture show. Though the collaboration has been pushed back due to the pandemic, we finally have a sneak peek at what the brands have been working on over the past year.

Recently-leaked images reveal a new take on Sacai and Nike's Vaporwaffle sneaker, complete with details like an elevated collar, thick stitching, and double Nike swoosh. As of now, the full collection does not have a set release date.
