Just In! Serious Accident Involving Scooter Rider

Paramedics from the Dr. D. Orlando Smith Hospital and ranks from the Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) are currently at the scene of a serious accident involving a scooter rider.
BVI Platinum News was told at the accident took place at Hodge's Creek this afternoon, January 23. A report from the scene indicated that police had cordoned off the area as they conducted investigations into the accident while paramedics appeared to be tending to the scooter rider on the side of the road. Details of the accident could not be confirmed at the time of publication.

This is the third major accident involving a scooter rider in just two days. Last evening a scooter rider showed up at the hospital with injuries. Police sources confirmed that the rider was on the wrong side (right) of the road and collided with an SUV which was traveling in the opposite direction. Earlier in the day, another scooter rider was involved in an accident in the Brandywine Bay area.
