The unwanted visitor was not interested in food and beverages but preferred cash.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, it was sometime between 10:00 pm on January 10 and the morning of January 11, 2022, that the business establishment was burglarised.

Over $200 missing

It is not clear how the culprit gained entry to the establishment; however, sometime shortly after noon on January 11, 2022, a member of staff discovered that over $200 left in the cash register the previous day was missing.

It is our understanding that the restaurant and surrounding establishments are outfitted with CCTV cameras.

Police are said to be investigating.
