Queen Camilla has reported that King Charles is in excellent health following his cancer diagnosis. During her attendance at a Salisbury Cathedral charity event, she mentioned his appreciation for the public's supportive messages.
Camilla's remarks come as the royal couple engages in their first public event post-diagnosis. King Charles, 75, remains positive amidst his health challenges, buoyed by the public's well-wishes.
Prince William also expressed gratitude for the support towards both his father, King Charles, and his wife, Kate, who recently underwent abdominal surgery.
Following her operation on January 16, Kate had a two-week hospital stay for recovery. Meanwhile, King Charles received treatment for an enlarged prostate. It was later revealed by Buckingham Palace that he also developed a form of cancer.
Currently, King Charles is scaling back on public duties to focus on outpatient treatment, with expectations for Kate to resume her royal engagements after Easter. This situation places greater responsibility on
Prince William and Queen Camilla to represent the monarchy in the interim.
