Large amount of cash allegedly discovered @ Port Purcel
Word reaching our newsroom from senior law enforcement officials is that there has been a discovery of a large amount of cash at the BVI Ports Authority (BVIPA) in Port Purcell, on the main island of Tortola.
According to reports, the discovery was made by officers of Her Majesty's Customs today, Thursday, February 4, 2021.
There have been reports that the cash is some $300, 000; however, this could not be confirmed.
It is unclear if any arrests have been made.
