Large quantity of cocaine allegedly discovered in trailer in EE

In what has been considered a major drug bust, police have allegedly discovered a large quantity of cocaine in a trailer in East End on Friday, November 6, 2020.
According to unconfirmed reports reaching our newsroom, a police officer is among those under investigation.

The matter is said to be engaging the attention of high officials in the Territory.

Police sources have confirmed the drug bust but were tight-lipped on details.

The trailer was reportedly in a yard where an apartment building is being constructed.

No current arrests- CoP Matthews

Police Commissioner Mr Michael B. Matthews informed our newsroom there are no current arrests in relation to the recent seizure.

"There will be a formal statement in due course on the matter but no other details at this stage," CoP Matthews stated.
