Lenora Delville Primary bleacher gets fresh paint thanks to Chad C. George

As the 2023 General Elections race heats up in the Virgin Islands (VI), the bleachers at the Lenora Delville Primary School in Capoons Bay, Tortola have received a fresh coat of paint under an initiative by independent First District candidate, Mr Chad C. George.

Following discussions with the school Principal Mrs. Pearlette Smith, Mr. George worked alongside students from the school as well as high school students from the First District on Friday, April 14, 2023, to clean and re-painted the bleachers ahead of the start of the third school term.

Speaking to the press, Mr. George said over the years, he has been involved with the school and therefore was aware of their needs and was willing to step up and provide assistance.

Bleachers cleaned & painted

“Helping to maintain a safe and clean environment for the students and teachers of Leonora Delville Primary School is nothing new for me,” he added.

The bleachers at the school was commonly used for general assembly and as a waiting area for parents and school bus pick-ups during the school term.

Mr Chad C. George announced his decision to contest for the First District seat on February 17, 2023.

He is going up against Dr Karl Dawson of the Virgin Islands Party (VIP) and Sylvia C. Moses of the Progressive Virgin Islands Movement (PVIM).
