Local Magistracy recommences operations today

The Magistracy located at Sakal Place on Walter James Francis Drive will recommence operations from Monday, July 12 between 8:30 am to 1 pm on weekdays.
A media release from the Office of the Deputy Governor which has responsibility for the Magistrate’s Court said all administrative services will be available to the public but court hearings will be rescheduled for remote proceedings where possible.

“Efforts will be made to inform all persons concerned of the rescheduling of their matters. Persons may also contact the office at telephone 468-4360 or 468-9510 for further information concerning the date and time of their matters,” the Deputy Governor’s Office said.

“As we continue to live and work with COVID-19, the Public Service will continue to adapt and transform to better serve your needs,” it added.

The Deputy Governor’s Office also encouraged all residents to protect themselves and others by wearing your mask and keep a safe social distance.
