Magnitude 5.4 ml earthquake felt in the BVI
On the 24th January 2021, at approximately 7:21 PM, the Puerto Rico Seismic Network recorded an earthquake measuring a magnitude of 5.4 ML with estimated Maximum Intensity of V.
At this intensity it is usually felt by everyone and may awaken others from sleeping.
The epicenter was located at latitude 18.25 North, 64.07 West at 44.82 Km Southeast of Virgin Gorda, BVI at a depth of 94 km.
