Male snorkeler missing off Cooper Island

A male snorkeler is said to have gone missing off Cooper Island today, Monday, October 25, 2021.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, the snorkeler is said to be an elderly male.

Police Information Officer Diane L. Drayton confirmed the reports to Virgin Islands News Online.

"I can confirm that Police received a report of a male missing after he went snorkelling off Cooper Island," Drayton said this afternoon.

She also said VISAR and Customs are assisting with the search.
