Man Charged After Objects Thrown at Nigel Farage

A man has been charged with using threatening behaviour after objects were thrown at the Reform UK leader Nigel Farage during campaigning in Barnsley. The accused, Josh Greally, 28, will appear at Barnsley Magistrates' Court on 26 June. The Home Office has offered to fund additional private security for electoral candidates, including Mr Farage, following another recent assault incident in Clacton-on-Sea.
A man has been charged with using threatening behaviour after objects were thrown at the Reform UK party leader Nigel Farage while he was campaigning on an open-top bus in Barnsley, South Yorkshire.

The accused, Josh Greally, 28, from Clowne, Derbyshire, will appear at Barnsley Magistrates' Court on 26 June.

The Home Office has offered to fund additional private security for electoral candidates, including Mr Farage.

This follows another recent incident where Victoria Thomas Bowen, 25, is set to appear in court on 2 July for throwing a milkshake at Mr Farage in Clacton-on-Sea.
