Man Shot In Parked Vehicle With 2 Year Old

The Royal Virgin Islands Police Force (RVIPF) said the shooting incident which occurred in Parham Town late last night, took place in the presence of a toddler.
In a statement Police spokeswoman Dianne Drayton said, the RVIPF is soliciting help from the general public pertaining to the shooting incident which occurred near the Parham Town General Supply Store around 10 pm on Friday, August 20.

The statement indicates that the male victim is now nursing what is believed to be non-life threatening injuries at the hospital.

“Investigations indicate that the victim was seated in his parked vehicle when he was approached and shot by a masked lone assailant. Among the occupants of the vehicle was a female in the front passenger seat and a two-year-old in the back seat,” the statement revealed.

Police are asking persons who were in the Parham Town area last night or those with information into this incident to contact the RVIPF Intelligence Unit at 368-9339 or an officer in the East End Police Station.”
