Man stabbed in the back @ Long Look
A man was reportedly rushed to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital with a stab wound on his back on April 27, 2021, according to information reaching our newsroom.
Our newsroom was further told that the injured man has since discharged himself from hospital even as doctors had recommended he be kept for observation.
Information reaching Virgin Islands News Online from sources familiar with the incident is that the man was at the Long Look Community Park on Tortola around 7:00 am when someone approached him from behind and stabbed him.
The injured man was reportedly unable to identify the perpetrator as he only saw the back of the person who appeared to be a male.
The man who inflicted the stab wound allegedly ran away.
Police are said to be investigating.
