According to reports reaching our newsroom, the teen was robbed of a $4000.00 ‘Gucci’ gold chain, which was allegedly snatched by a masked individual.

Our newsroom was told that the youth attended the Christmas in the City Basketball Competition on Wickham’s Cay 1 and then visited a nearby business place where he caught up with other friends as well as a relative.

According to reports, while others left, the teen and his relative remained on the frontage of the business place when a masked man approached them and grabbed the victim’s gold chain and ran off.

Persons who witnessed the robbery reportedly gave chase but the masked man ran off towards the Christmas in the City event and melted into the crowd.

Police are said to be investigating.
