Following a recent incursion by Ukrainian forces into Russia's Kursk region, more than 76,000 individuals have been evacuated from areas bordering Ukraine.
This action was confirmed by the local emergency ministry and reported by the Tass news agency.
The situation escalated when Russia began intense battles with thousands of Ukrainian troops penetrated as far as 20 kilometers (12 miles) into the Kursk region.
This incursion represents the largest attack on Russian territory since the war began in 2022.
