An unknown amount of cash was reportedly taken from the Mellow Moods Café on Flemming Street, Tortola by someone who broke into the business place between April 3 and 4, 2021.
The burglar stole tips and money left in the cash register from the previous day.

According to reports reaching our newsroom, someone who works at the establishment made the discovery at approximately 1:00 pm yesterday, Sunday, April 4, 2021.

The employee allegedly alerted the owner of the business after entering the building and seeing the 'tips pan' on the floor and the cash register open.

Our newsroom was told that some $250 was taken from the cash register while the amount taken from the 'tips pan' is unknown.

From all indication, the burglar pried open a back door to gain entry.
