Middle School Teacher Calls President Trump ‘Idiot’ In Quiz
A teacher in Florida referred to President Trump as an “idiot” in a quiz she administered to middle school students at Watson B. Duncan Middle School in Palm Beach Gardens. A student’s father, Cameron Cary, reported the incident in a tweet after his daughter shared a photo she took of the quiz question.
“This was an actual question on my daughters middle school test today. Furious. Going to raise some hell with the principle. Indoctrination will not continue,” said Cary.
In the quiz, the teacher asked students to identify the description “5th Pres; 2017; Republican; Real Estate businessman; Idiot, according to the Sun Sentinel. The teacher is awaiting an investigation. The teacher is now awaiting an investigation, but remains employed by the school.
“The question was inappropriate, and demonstrated an unacceptable lack of good judgment on the part of the teacher,” wrote Phillip D’Amico, principal at Watson B. Duncan Middle School, in a public letter following the incident.
The principal also informed the parents that the teacher who created the test has been “reassigned” and that an investigation is ongoing.
