Miracle Baby Born After Gaza Airstrike

An Israeli airstrike on July 19 in central Gaza killed nine-month pregnant Ola Al-Kurd. Miraculously, her baby survived and was delivered in a local hospital. This incident highlights the ongoing conflict, with over 39,000 Palestinians dead and immense medical challenges in Gaza.
On July 19, an Israeli airstrike hit a family home in Al-Nuseirat, central Gaza, killing Ola Al-Kurd, who was nine months pregnant.

Miraculously, her baby survived and was delivered at Al Awda hospital, then transferred to Al Aqsa hospital.

Ola's father, Adnan Al-Kurd, recounts the tragedy, which reflects the ongoing conflict in Gaza, where over 39,000 Palestinians have died.

Mediators from the U.S., Qatar, and Egypt have not secured a ceasefire.

The baby, named Malek Yassin, struggles along with others in Gaza due to a lack of medical supplies and hospital damages caused by the ongoing war.
