This was revealed by Premier Andrew Fahie in his response to questions by the Third District Representative Julian Fraser in the House of Assembly recently.
Premier Fahie said the Minister for Utilities Kye Rymer will be spearheading that short-term plan for the residents of Sea Cow’s Bay.
“[Government is] currently working on an arrangement with Seven Seas Water to install a mobile reverse osmosis desalination plant.”
Premier Fahie, who is also the Minister of Finance, further said: “The cost to be incurred for this venture will be offset by increased collections in revenue as everyone will now have access to water on a continuous basis.”
Fahie, however, did not specify a timeline when this plant will be operational.
