Motor scooter rider shot in leg in Baughers Bay

Information just reaching our news centre is that a male motor scooter rider was taken to Dr D. Orlando Smith Hospital with a gunshot wound today, October 27, 2020.
According to reports, the man was shot while in Baughers Bay, Tortola.

Only yesterday, October 26, 2020, a motor scooter rider discharged several rounds while chasing a rental vehicle in the Carrot Bay community,

It is unclear at this time if the shootings are connected.

Police have confirmed that a male is being treated for a wound to the leg he received sometime today.

"The circumstances surrounding that injury is unclear at this time, therefore, no further details can be provided," Police Information Officer Diane L. Drayton responded when our newsroom reached out for confirmation and details.
