Nanny Cay Resort & 284Foundation launches wall art competition
Nanny Cay Resort, in collaboration with the 284Foundation, is hosting a Wall Art Competition which seeks to give young creatives in the [British] Virgin Islands an opportunity to have their work showcased on the walls of the resort’s new and improved rooms.
Under the categories of Art and Photography, young creatives will be required to submit their entries based on a Garden, Beach or Nature theme. Winners will receive a gift voucher towards their creative skill and possible further art commissioned pieces from Nanny Cay Resort. They will also be photographed in the room where their winning piece will be hung.
Persons entering the Art category must be ages 14-25 and those entering the Photography category must be ages 16-30. All persons must be able to provide up to three (3) original artwork or photography pieces.
The Wall Art Competition officially opens on May 12, 2021.
To register, send an email to dflanders@284foundation.org with your name, phone number, a copy of identification, and your category (Art or Photography) of interest. There are no pre-requisites. The registration deadline ends May 28, 2021. After registering, further instructions will be given.
All final entries must be submitted by Friday, June 11, 2021.
